Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Infrastructure Consultant to Lead our Infrastucture practice in South Africa.

Infrastructure professionals focus on the continuous delivery of IT Operations, Security, Network, Workplace Technology & Collaboration, and Data Center Technology, allowing critical applications to effectively respond and perform to the demands placed on them.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and integration of computing systems and Infrastructure components
Lead and handle a group of IT Infrastructure professionals
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for integrating and managing the company?s information technology services and those supporting new enterprise-wide initiatives
Responsible for all facets of the organizations technology infrastructure, including architecture, capacity planning, administration, operational management, and troubleshooting to ensure the efficient, stable, reliable and secure operations of the organizations technology
Proactively introduce new technology solutions for current business problems and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and their impact on the enterprise architecture
Lead the IT Infrastructure and operations functions of network engineering, database administration, systems engineering, and administration in addition to providing the technology foundation for the company?s enterprise business systems and applications
Oversee the engineering and management of data center facilities
Document, maintain, and test a disaster recovery plan for Infrastructure and enterprise systems and applications
